Christmas Presents of HOPE 2014
Parents sign your child(ren) up for Christmas Presents of HOPE 2014. This is good for Pediatric Cancer Patients (17 & Under) located in the United States. Children must be currently be in active treatment (chemo or radiation for childhood cancer) or in hospice care. Children can not be signed up for any other Christmas programs similar to this through any other organizations. NOTE: We may require a referral from an oncologist to participate in this program. In this circumstance, we will notify you directly if a referral is needed. Christmas Presents of HOPE Deadline for Signing Up: I AM SORRY WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2014 PLEASE READ THE FULL MESSAGE BELOW BEFORE SIGNING YOUR CHILD UP TO MAKE SURE YOU AGREE WITH THE REQUIRED TERMS Only the PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS can sign their child(ren) up. Sprinkle Dust Fairies will "adopt" your child and will get your little one a special gift, wrap it and will ship it to them directly. These gifts will come from smoke free homes. Requirements: 1. Parents must provide The Blanket Fairy a link to a blog, website or fan page showing information on their child. The website must be active with occasional updates. The volunteers who "adopt" a child will follow your child's progress thru your website. The Blanket Fairy posts all blogs on this site to help raise awareness on Pediatric Cancers and to help get prayers sent your way. 2. Parents must submit a letter on their childs behalf (kind of like how they write a letter to Santa but to The Blanket Fairy) with their requests of what they would like or favorite characters, etc. to The Blanket Fairy. Please include their shoe size and clothing sizes as well. Please also include the above information on any siblings who live in your home full time who are under the age of 18. Use this letter as a way to introduce your child to the volunteer and include any information that they will need to put together a package for your child and their siblings. 3. Parents must take pictures of their children (including siblings)opening their gifts and email them to me. These will be posted on my page so they volunteers who adopted the families can see the smiles they helped provide. These pictures must be emailed to [email protected] within 1 week of receiving your package. If for some reason you are out of town etc. just let me know so I can at least let the volunteer know that you received the package. 4. Parents must fill out the Application completely. Once I have all of the information I need I will email back ALL parents to let them know if their child qualifies. Please be sure that you have a valid email address on the application where I can contact you back with any questions. Please include the FULL LINK to your child's website, not partials as this will not be accepted. This is so the volunteers can just click on the link to get to your child's website more easily. Phone numbers will not be sent the volunteers, this is for me only in case I have any questions and can't get a hold of you thru your email address. Not having your application filled out completely and correct will cause your application to be denied so please double check your information before submitting. 5. I am big on communication so please be sure to add [email protected] to your contact list so that my emails do not get lost in your junk folder. If I email you and you do not respond after several attempts your application will automatically be declined. |
